Catching up on the grading news – 4th Kyu to Shodan

The club has done very well in the last few months, with a number of gradings.

On 20 June 2026 we welcomed Alex Megann, and Adam, Jim, Karl from Southampton, and almost a surprise visit by Allan Hagan, to oversee Steve, Gemma and Mila grading to 4th Kyu, 2nd Kyu and 1st Kyu respectively (special dispensation to grade outside Summer School)

Congratulations to all three, very successful gradings.

And then at Summer School in Chester at the end of July, Pawel tried for his Shodan grading and once again had great success. No photos of the action, but we have one relaxing afterwards!
