Very well done to Charlie Chuck for passing her 6 Kyu grading on Saturday 11 June.
What a lovely morning on Saturday … with the sun shining and a big turnout to support Charlie in her first grading. Just over six months into her first Aikido year, Charlie has trained hard this past term and had no problem with the basics, easily achieving 6th Kyu level. Congratulations to Charlie, who is now also President of the Student Club.
We hope her efforts will motivate others to have a go!
It’s so nice to see the Dojo starting to fill with new members and the mood in the Club is very optimistic. Now we must focus on getting the rest of the beginners graded and attracting a new cohort of students in Michaelmas term. Thanks to all for your support.
